Long Time

Things that have happened in my life since I last posted a blog (in no particular order):

1. I got a new toothbrush
2. I painted my room purple
3. Our computer crashed and we lost everything
4. I bought an ipod
5. I got a fever of 101.3, missed three days of school and slept more than I thought was possible
6. I finally leaned how to close on my own at work
7. I went to Fruit's concert with Tom
8. I did my first CBG in Kidventure and taught Cynthia's class
9. I got a ticket to Xavier Rudd's concert on November 21st
10. I kind of have this problem where I have to end lists on multiples of five so I just had to throw this in there to make 10 since I have nothing else to say because I really do have quite a boring life

For all of those who were wondering my bite is healing quite well.

"Teachers are not supposed to bite their students!"

As I was about to hand in an assignment today I realized there were two staples in it that didn't need to be there, but my teacher had already grabbed the other half of the assignment (I was still hanging on to my half). So I kindly asked for it back when he said why? I responded there are staples in it and I want to take them out and re-staple it properly, he proceeded to rip it out of my hands, but I held on tight. The next thing I know he is bent over about to bite my hand in order to make me let go. I didn't actually think he would do it so I held my grasp on the paper and waited for the next thing. And the next thing was the bite! "What the heck! Did you just bite me?" I said in a loud voice (not quite a yell but pretty loud, but in my defense it was completely expectable in this situation!) "Teachers are not supposed to bite their students!" I said. He proceeded to laugh as if this was an everyday occurrence, but he let go of my paper, so he must have realized what he did to some extent. After he let go I took out the staples and went to his desk to staple it properly when I looked down at knuckle where he had bitten me it was bleeding! I couldn't believe it! As if a teacher just bit my hand and now it’s bleeding! I spoke loudly a little more at him and handed in my paper. For the rest of the class anytime he said something to me I would remind him that he just bit me. It didn't really seem to faze him. Oh the joys of highschool with Humphrey. Not many could get away with such an act!

10 Things That Suck

1. I’m officially sick. I've been holding it off for a while now, while everyone else around me got sick and then got better I kept it away, but now, only now I get sick, when everyone else feels great. Also my lips are always dry because my nose is plugged so I am forced to breath through my mouth.
2. I have to work tomorrow. If you don't already know, I work at Extreme Pita. It is not a good job to be doing if you are sick, I don't think people will appreciate a sick person making their food. So if you were planning to come to the Extreme Pita on St. Mary's tomorrow evening, don't.
3. My alarm broke this morning, and started randomly beeping and buzzing at 7:00 am this morning, and I was not ready to get up yet. And then, since it broke, I slept in and had to run to catch the bus.
4. I went to Zeller's today to get only 3 items; shampoo, conditioner and face wash. Well I went and came back with a whole bunch of stuff I didn't need and not what I did need. Well I still got shampoo and conditioner, but not the kind I wanted, and they didn't have any Nivea Women products at all. It sucked.
5. My friend has a car, and she is supposed to be driving me to school, but she does not have her license, she failed her test and could only reschedule for October 11th, so I have to continue taking the bus until then.
6. Jackie Green was supposed to come to Winnipeg, November 21st and he had to cancel his tour because something happened, and I was looking forward to seeing him as I have listened to him many times with out really seeing him (well okay he was at folk fest 2 years ago but he only played two songs, and I was forced to listen to a whole bunch of other (not quite crap) people in-between those two songs).
7. I was waiting for my hot chocolate to cool down a bit before I drank it as I typed this, and I just had a sip of it and now it is not hot enough, and I'm much to lazy to go heat it up.
8. I keep missing The Amazing Race because it is on Sundays, and I work on Sunday and I keep forgetting to ask Kim to tape it for me and now it's been two weeks that I've missed. I should probably start doing something about it instead of just complaining.
9. I still have math homework to do for tomorrow. I don't think it will get done tonight though, maybe at spare tomorrow. I dunno, we'll see.
10. I kind of have a stomach ache, on top of being sick because my hot chocolate was getting too cold and I drank it too fast.
